Founded in 1991 in Silicon Valley, CPAA's mission is to introduce Chinese culture as a world treasure of exceptional beauty and richness. The goals are to produce and present high quality performances to the general public, to provide a training ground for local talents to learn and participate in Chinese arts, and to encourage cultural exchanges promoting harmony in the world.

   自一九九一年創團以來，每年都創作大型的優秀製作，在美國主流社會和僑界中建立了良好的聲譽。每年在硅谷及美國其他地區作巡迴表演。2004年又創立了飛楊藝術學院，開辦舞蹈，武術，音樂，美術等課程以培訓下一代。在介紹和推廣中華文化作出巨大的貢獻。自2005年開始，飛揚更聯合各界藝術家們共同舉辦《飛楊國際藝術節》。
